He went the extra mile, showing us various access points and prime fishing spots for our week-long stay. His detailed explanations of the different life cycles and fly-fishing techniques were invaluable. "My friend and I booked a guide trip through Frying Pan Anglers. We were taken on a great run of the river via boat by Harry. I’ve been on A LOT of guided fishing trips, and this one was by far the greatest! Harry is a spectacular guide that is probably more familiar with the water than the fish that inhabit it. I learned more about fly fishing, techniques, and the biology of the river from Harry in a day of fishing than I could have ever figured out myself. We caught several really good fish and missed just as many. I would highly recommend this fly shop as well as their guide service if you are in town. The fly shop has an excellent selection of gear, flies, and knowledge of anything fishing related."

"Wonderful time on a half day guided wade trip with my 25 year old daughter. This was essentially my daughters first time and Eric was a great instructor in addition to being a great guide. He took the time to educate her and even seined some bugs to show her what was on the menu.  My daughter landed her first fish on a dry fly on the Frying Pan river!   Eric called the night before to discuss the trip and followed through with a flawless outing.  Great day of fishing with plenty of action but the best part for me was watching the continuous smile on my daughters face. She couldn't wait to get out the next day with Dad. Thanks Eric!!!"

"I am writing this letter in regards to an incredible experience I had recently with your guide Pat. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to go on one of Pat's guided fishing trips by bike. What a remarkable way to experience this valley! The bicycles allowed us to truly experience the environment and get to more exclusive fishing than what a car would have allowed. Beyond providing a unique cycling/fishing experience, Pat was incredibly informative, patient and knowledgeable, leading me to catch more fish than ever before! The great thing about this format of a guided trip is that the entire trip is an experience, not just the fishing. I had such an amazing time and look forward to many more cycling fishing trips!"

"Excellent fly shop. We stopped in before going up the river. These guys were patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. They answered every question and suggested a couple of really good flies.  

I've been to several fly shops where anyone working there seems to know very little. This place was far from that. While we were there at least 3 guides came in and gave us advice on what was working.

"My Buddy and I used Trey as a guide for 2 half days on the Frying Pan. Spring snow storm created some adverse conditions (got a little better 2nd day). Trey did a great job with the right flies, the right rig setup, the right spots. Did good first day but epic 2nd day! Great trip."
