A new addition to our store. Graywolf is a US made rod made in Michigan. They make a range of rods. Alpha. We carry their 9'5" 6wt Apha. It is a 7 piece rod and exceptionally reasonable for the price. We offer it in a package deal with a ross reel and a line for a total package price of $179. It is an excellent beginners rod or a great standby boat rod. As a second rod in a boat it is perfect to suit most circumstances in our area from throwing double drys to being able to handle heavy streamers. It is by no means an elegant rod. But for the money it is perfect for the purpose it serves. Brookie and SX3 We have taken a fancy to their small mountain stream travel rod. It is a 6 piece 7foot 3/4 weight in their Brookie series. They are also going to make the same rod with a high end finish in their SX3 series. We think it will be an excellent addition to our range of small mountain stream pack rods particularly as they will be making this size rod exclusively for us. It is a perfect little rod for small situations. In particular the 3/4 designation indicates it is just a little more rod than a simple 3 wt in case you travel to a high mountain stream and get to a lake where a little more distance is required. The rod is made in America by an American and we support his endeavours in a field where all too many of the offering are from far away. The Brookie. We are currently in the process of having Shane Gray make us some bamboo rods for delivery in Late June. They will be hopefully priced at less than $1000 to make them reasonable for the discerning fishermen.
