"Dear FP Anglers,
Thought you might enjoy this picture from yesterday. We stopped in at your shop around 10 AM yesterday for flies and supplies. I was with my brother and his two sons. You guys told me where I could get a cigar two doors down. The two people in the shop (one pretty young - (Chase)) helped us get our daily dozen squared away. Hooked this fish three times over a seven hour period. This was an undisclosed number of miles miles down from the reservoir section, but it was over three miles below. Really fat, was feeding very actively in a really fast chute. Not on a bed, not spawning behavior. I think this was definitely post-spawn. No eggs came out. Took the bug on the second cast.
Taped at 31 1/2 inches. Did not have a scale, but that is OK. Recovered very well and moved right back into the current. This is a lifetime fish for me, including going to New Zealand. Took the #24 loop wing midge emerger that you guys recommended. 6X tippet. 15 minutes. 100 Yards up and down the river. I had to get up on the road to follow him.
What would you guess she might have weighed?
